Make a Difference
Our Kids Initiating Change (KIC) will be conducting a Make a Difference Day from October 18-October 22. The KIC group will be collecting items for the Ronald McDonald House of Charities. Canned Food Drive
Don't forget our Canned Food Drive will be held from October 18-October 22. This canned food drive will help the Hawaii Food Bank. Canned goods may be dropped off in the labeled boxes located in the front office. See attached for more information.
Running Club
The Keone'ula Running Club is open to all students in grades K-6. The club will focus on proper running technique, nutrition, hydration and safety. The Road Runners Club of American Kids Run the Nation curriculum will be used for the program. Each session will be 8 weeks long. The Running Club is $30 per year (Jan. 1-Dec. 31). There will be an informational meeting on November 4 at 2:15 p.m. in the library. See attached for more information.

Fundraiser Pick-Up
Don't forget the Fall Fundraiser (cinnamon bread, banana-mac nut bread, portugese sausage) Pick-Up will be on Saturday, Sept. 25 from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. Fundraising products will not be available after Saturday's pick-up.
Parking in Handicap Stalls
We are asking for your assistance. Please do not park in a handicap stall unless you have a handicap placard. The parking is reserved for cars with handicap placards. We appreciate your assistance with this matter.

During the period of September 18 through November 26, 2010, Keone'ula will receive a $25 award for each qualified account opened at American Savings Bank. All of your family and friends need to do when they open one of the qualified accounts is ask American Savings to designate $25 to Keone'ula. Family Reading Night
Thank you to all who came out to the Family Reading Night activity! It was a great turn out and there were alot of colorful and creative posters made. The posters will be displayed around the campus. You can view the posters in the library alcove, E, G and F Building. You might find a family's favorite book that intrests you to read.
