Complex Volleyball

6th grade students participated in complex volleyball games on Monday, 10/25/10.  A fun time was had by all the students!  Thanks to Mr. Chung and Ms. Coffin for coaching the students.

Parents as Partners: A Writing Workshop

Don't forget to RSVP for the Parent Workshop.  The deadline has been extended to Wednesday, October 20. The Parent Workshop will be taking place on Thursday, October 28.

Class Treats

Parents - Please make sure you notify the teacher when you will be sending your child with a class treat.  This will ensure that there are enough treats for the students.

Fire Lane Parking

Parents - We are asking for your assistance.  When dropping off or picking up your child do not park in the fire lane. Thank you for your assistance.  

Make-Up Picture Taking

Make-up picture taking has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 19.  Students who plan on retaking their pictures need to submit their previous picture taking envelope.

Lost and Found

Please label your child's belongings so that items can be returned to your child.  All lost and found items can be claimed in the front office.

Make a Difference

Our Kids Initiating Change (KIC) will be conducting a Make a Difference Day from October 18-October 22.  The KIC group will be collecting items for the Ronald McDonald House of Charities.  Please see the attached for more information:

Canned Food Drive

Don't forget our Canned Food Drive will be held from October 18-October 22.  This canned food drive will help the Hawaii Food Bank.  Canned goods may be dropped off in the labeled boxes located in the front office.  See attached for more information.

Running Club

The Keone'ula Running Club is open to all students in grades K-6.  The club will focus on proper running technique, nutrition, hydration and safety.  The Road Runners Club of American Kids Run the Nation curriculum will be used for the program.  Each session will be 8 weeks long.  The Running Club is $30 per year (Jan. 1-Dec. 31).  There will be an informational meeting on November 4 at 2:15 p.m. in the library.  See attached for more information.
